legislative e-Library and Tracking system
The Bulan Poblacion (town center) is known for its old Spanish-era church, which still stands as a symbol of the town's deep religious and cultural heritage. The church, St. Joseph the Worker Parish Church, has become a focal point during religious events and pilgrimages
Bulan, Sorsogon, gets its name from the Bicolano word "bulan", which means "moon." It is believed that the town was named after the moon due to its bright and serene appearance over the bay
Bulan, Sorsogon, is home to the famous Bulan Bay which is known for its scenic beaches and rich marine life. The bay is a popular spot for fishing and other water activities, making it a hidden gem for eco-tourism in the Bicol region. The town also celebrates its annual Bulan Fiesta, a vibrant event honoring the town's patron saint, St. Joseph, which features cultural presentations, street dancing, and local delicacies
Did you know that the first legislative tracking system dates back to the 1970s? It was initially developed as a database management tool for tracking federal legislation in the United States. Over the years, it has evolved into a sophisticated digital platform that serves governments and organizations worldwide, helping them manage and streamline legislative processes with unprecedented efficiency and transparency
I am truly excited to introduce to you our e-Legislative and e-Library Tracking System—a major step forward in bringing our local government and services into the digital age. This project is designed to make our processes more transparent, efficient, and accessible to all of you.
Through the e-Legislative Tracking System, we’ll be able to keep you updated on the status of ordinances, resolutions, and other legislative matters in real-time. You’ll be able to track the progress of local laws and engage with our work more easily. This is all about making sure that you, the people we serve, are informed and involved in what’s happening in our local government.
At the same time, our e-Library Tracking System will help improve access to our town’s library resources. Whether you’re a student, teacher, or just someone who loves to read, this system will make it easier for you to search for and borrow books and other learning materials. We hope this will open up more opportunities for education and personal growth, especially in today’s world where access to information is key.
This is just the beginning, and we’re excited about the potential it brings to our town. As your Vice Mayor, I am committed to making sure that we keep moving forward and providing better services for all Bulaneños.
Let’s continue to work together for a better, more connected Bulan.
Mabuhay ang Bulan!
